Taking place in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, the Velo2Velo Scarborough Bike & Boot Sportive is a 55 mile cycle sportive with a fully signed route.

Departing from the wonderful Bike & Boot Hotel on Cliff Bridge Terrace, the route heads out along the seafront taking in Scarborough Castle and views over the Yorkshire coastline.

It’s then into the North Yorks Moors National Park, following the route of the 2019 Tour De Yorkshire through Harwood Dale before taking in some of the planned 2020 route through Hackness and the Forge Valley Woods.

Scarborough has been a part of the Tour de Yorkshire in each edition since the race's inception and has produced some spectacular finishes and it provides another perfect location for our Velo2Velo series.

This route is suitable for a wide range of riders, particularly anyone who is looking for an event that's both challenging and relaxed, it isn’t too hard on the legs, it is all about going at your own pace and enjoying stunning North Yorkshire countryside.
