Family Activities
Learn about traditional techinques used out at sea, with demonstrations by local fishermen on how to mend nets and lobster pots.

Take a Fishy Treasure Hunt at Captain Cook Memorial Museum, where you can create your fish made out of recyclable plastic!

Other Activities
Jo Witney (Sculpturer) is working with 4 schools in Whitby, to produce a large sculpture made out of recyclable plastic, which will be displayed in 4 locations around Whitby.
Angling competition on the Yorkshire Coast, the weigh-in will be at the Fish Market between 4pm-5pm.
Whitby's Airey Hill School have created some festive bunting which will be displayed at Dock End Whitby.

Fantastic live music every day of the festival, head to the Music Marquee located on Endeavour Wharf and at Whitby Bandstand!
There will be over 40 hours of music, including top-tapping sea shanties, soulful sailor's ballads and some of the UK's top sea-singers and musicians!
