Tony Hogan

Details

Internationally recognised for his stunning paintings and a relaxed easy way of teaching others, Tony has been artistically from his early childhood in Saltaire, Shipley.

Trained at Bradford College of Art in the sixties he has been a successful professional artist in the commercial world and then from his own studio ever since. For over two decades he has organised and run art holiday breaks working with participants of all abilities and in all media.
As a lead demonstrator for international art suppliers/manufacturers he is employed at major art fairs, local art societies and on T.V. to give demonstrations on media and
techniques.

The five day course is based on en-plein air painting the stunning views in and around Scarborough in the media of your choice. Experienced professional artists Tony & Eileen Hogan,
recognised for their relaxed easy way of working with a touch of humour whilst giving guidance and tuition for all abilities will be there alongside you at al times. A large spacious studio is available for inclement weather or those preferring studio work only.
After your evening meal on three of the nights Tony will give a demonstration in the studio using different media each time for those wanting to watch.
All abilities are welcome using the media of your choice, which you bring with you.
