Malton Library & Information Centre is located on St Michael Street and offers a large selection of books, CDs and DVDs available to be borrowed.

The library is in St Michael Street, which links the main shopping street, Wheelgate, and the marketplace. It is approximately a ten-minute walk from both the bus and railway station.

There are two disabled car parking spaces at the front of the library. Free parking for up to two hours is available in the marketplace, a five-minute walk away, and long and short-stay car parks are about ten minutes' walk away. The library has automatic doors and is accessible to wheelchairs.
