You can borrow a range of books, DVDs, large print books, music CDs, story tapes and talking books.

The library is located just off the main pedestrian precinct on Vernon Road, next door to the Iceland supermarket. There are two bus stops near the library, which are served by numerous routes. The railway station is also nearby.

The most convenient parking is at the Palm Court multi-storey on Vernon Road or the Brunswick multi-storey on York Place. Alternatively, Scarborough has a park and ride scheme on the A64 and the A165 Filey approach to town.

The library has ramps, automatic doors, lifts, a disabled toilet and an induction loop system.

By Road:Follow signs for Scarborough Railway Station. With station on your right hand side facing down the town centre, take a right at the traffic signals on Valley Bridge Road. Keep to the left and at giveway turn left onto Somerset Terrace. Continue through the traffic signals and at round-about take 1st exit onto Vernon Road. The library is on your right hand side.Accessible by Public Transport: Scarborough station is 0 miles away.
