About

Trampers for hire facilitating access to rural locations otherwise out of reach to those with mobility issues. We have two Trampers in the North York Moors one at Ravenscar Visitor centre and one at Sutton Bank Visitor centre.

First time users must undertake a short training session to become an Annual Member (£10 for 12 months) or as Temporary Member (£2.50 for 2 weeks) 

Trampers are limited to a speed of 4mph with an age restriction of 14 and above

The maximum weight limit to use a Tramper is 25 stone (158 kilos)

Distance: 2.7km / 1.7miles
Gradient: Steep, off-road
Dramatic seascape, cliffs and birdlife are just a few of the attractions on this spectacular route at the Yorkshire Coast.

A there and back route from the Ravenscar Visitor Centre (National Trust) of approximately 2.7km/1.7 miles, with a steep downhill on the outward journey and uphill on return.

​Members must be accompanied on the route by another person during the tramper hire session, due to limited or no mobile signal. 

​All Tramper users must stay on the designated Tramper route path.
