Yikes! Brave the Rainforest Adventure… opening February Half Term.

Shh! Do you hear that? An adventure is calling!

A storm has hit SEA LIFE Scarborough and Ranger Andy needs your help to unearth what lies beneath the surface of the Rainforest. Immerse yourself in a world of creepy crawlies, lurking lizards and curious critters. Come just centimetres away from Green Tree Pythons, and be mesmerised at the incredible colours of the Poison Arrow Dart Frog.

Dive into an underwater adventure at Sea Life Scarborough and journey through the world’s different oceans and shores as you make your way around the unique indoor and outdoor attraction.

Inside the Centre see the incredible creatures of the Great Barrier Reef including the beautiful blue spotted stingray. Meet the local residents in our native waters display and watch out for sharks swimming overhead as you take a stroll on the ocean floor in the amazing 180 degree Ocean Tunnel.

Visit the Turtle Rescue Centre and help save an interactive turtle that needs your help. You’ll need to go through an educational and fun sequence of rehabilitation including hydrating, feeding and X-raying your turtle before releasing it back in the ocean.

Head outside and meet the extensive and cheeky colony of Humboldt penguins that reside on Penguin Island – a specialist walkthrough penguin enclosure that allows guests to get closer than ever before to the nation's favourite marine creature.

Just around the corner you’ll find Yorkshire’s only Seal Hospital, responsible for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of over 50 seals every year. Visit the patients undergoing treatment in the hospital and find out all about their plights in the wild.

Make sure you don’t miss a visit to the Otter River, where you’ll find our pair of playful Asian short clawed otters, Eric and Pumpkin, splashing around!
