Sledmere Estate, Half Moon Brewery and Colemans Cider have joined forces to deliver the best of what Yorkshire has to offer. With live music, award-winning local food and drink and the amazing setting of Sykes Barn located in the heart of the fabulous Sledmere Estate, the weekend is sure to excite your taste buds and have you dancing the night away.

The first Horizon Festival takes place on Friday 31st May and Saturday 1st June 2019.

An eclectic mix of entertainment includes local musicians and bands. Hyde Family Jam who are regulars at Edinburgh Fringe and busking award winners at York Culture Awards 2018, headline the Saturday night. Included in the line- up are Boss Caine, Dog Finger Steve, White Sail, Evie Barrand, Half Moon Breweries own Habitual Drunkards, Melting Pot.

Over 20 craft beers, selected by the team at Half Moon Brewery to show the regions fantastic range of local breweries, along with a fine offering of local ciders, hand-picked by Colemans, and not forgetting other tipples including local wines and gins.

Jackie Rogers co-owner of Half Moon Brewery said; “Horizon Festival is an amazing event to be involved in, our passion for great beer and live music is well known, and to combine those in the beautiful setting of Sledmere is a fabulous opportunity. Live music, craft beer, cider, gin, wine, local food and camping! We hope you can join us for what is shaping up to be a fantastic weekend.”

Meet the producers! Talks from local suppliers to give you local knowledge and tips about what to look for in the best beers, ciders, gins and wine so you can become your own connoisseur!

On the Saturday the Artisan Food and Craft fair is held from 9.30am until 4pm and has over 40 stalls showcasing the Yorkshires best Food and Crafts including Sheryls Crafty Cakes, Roanne Nurseries, White Gables Confectionary and Yorkshire Made Wood Crafts.
Throughout the weekend there is Free Access to Sledmere’s renowned gardens and grounds, which includes the adventure play area and rare breed’s farm.

Weekend Tickets - including 2 nights camping & entry: Adult £30.00 Child £20.00.

Half Moon Brewery will be showcasing their own range of award winning craft beers, watch out for some stunning examples from other micro-breweries in the region.
Craft cider producer Colemans present their own range, along with a fabulous selection from other producers.
Watch out for our 'Horizion Bar' providing some of the best wines and spirits from the region.
A range of carefully selected local artisan food producers will ensure that no one goes hungry!


Camping is basic, there are no showers available on site, however there is security, first aid, toilets and fresh tap water.
Caravans and camper vans allow but now electric or water hook ups.
The campsite will open 3pm Friday until 8 pm (no admissions after 8 pm). It will then reopen 9.00 am Saturday morning.
Please use camping space sparingly and sensibly and no barbeques or open fires.


The Festival reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, and to vary the advertised programme and timings without being liable to pay compensation.

Festival Campsite pitches are only available to weekend ticket holders.
On arrival each e-ticket reference code must be exchanged for a wristband which must be worn at all times.
Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion, without the prior written consent of Horizon Festival.

Dogs must be kept on a lead in the grounds, gardens and campsite,
but are not permitted in the venue.

Car parking
Free car parking is available. All vehicles parked at owner's own risk.

Age Policy
All under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We will be Operating Challenge 25.

Damage/ Loss
Horizon Festival does not accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses or injuries sustained at our event.
