Scarborough will be hosting this years Armed Forces Day National Event. Join us for another memorable day to ‘show your support’ and to say thank you to the men and women of the British Armed Forces community that includes serving personnel and their families, veterans and the cadet forces.
Armed Forces Day in Scarborough will be held on the Saturday 27th June 2020. Our event is one of hundreds held across the country, to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.
‘National Armed Forces day is usually attended by a Senior Royal and The Prime Minister.
The day will feature an array of land, sea and air assets.

Directions to south bay when there are no major events taking place:
By Road:
Follow signs for Scarborough's South Bay.
From the South end of the bay you will come along Foreshore Road.
From Peasholm Park in the North Bay, go on seafront along Royal Albert Drive, Marine Drive and Sandside.
By Public transport:
There is a regular No.6 bus service from the town centre down to the West Pier in the South Bay (day time only). Current timetable at www.eyms.co.uk
