Robin Hood Folk Club - Paul Walker, Sally Pfeiffer

Be Entertained at the Bay Folk Club.

Paul Walker, Sally Pfeiffer

Bay Folk Club regularly puts on brilliant musicians and singers that would cost you £££s to see at a concert or festival - all for the cost of a simple raffle ticket. This coming Friday, September 6th, at 8.30 in the atmospheric Ye Dolphin, deep down in the old village of Robin Hood’s Bay, the guest is Sally Ironmonger. Sally and her husband Brian Carter have been writing, performing and bickering together for nearly 20 years. Sally has a powerful voice and stage presence and Brian is a brilliant musician. They are regulars on the club and festival circuit and have also written for TV and radio. Their songs are moving and funny, and tell tales about shipyards, prostitutes, trips to the seaside, humour and protest. They have a quirky and distinctive style, with Brian’s unusual and accomplished guitar technique the perfect accompaniment to Sally’s unique voice. They love what they do, and their aim is to entertain, with songs that make you laugh, or cry, or just think.
So make your way down to Robin Hood’s Bay Folk Club this Friday in Ye Dolphin for an 8.30 start to a fine evening’s entertainment - you won’t find better value, and you may even win the Raffle!

“It seems that there is nothing that this duo cannot bring into fruition with their own unique style and passion.
