BOSSES at Oliver’s Mount have announced their plans for next season’s road races as they return to a full four-race campaign for 2020.
The iconic Scarborough is set to host the four traditional meetings next year for the first time since 2017, along with regular hill climb events which are reported to be returning, though no dates have yet been announced for these.
Mount action is set to kick off on 25 and 26 April with the Spring Cup ahead of the Cock O’ the North Festival a month later on 20 and 21 June.
This year’s comeback event, the Barry Sheene Classic Festival, has been shifted back a few days to 1 and 2 August while the Gold Cup will be moved forward a fortnight to 12 and 13 September to round out the season.
The provisional 2020 calendar is as follows:
April 25-26 – Spring Cup
June 20-21 – Cock o’ the North Festival
August 1-2 – Barry Sheene Classic
September 12-13 – Gold Cup
