Whitby Goth Festival
Friday 26th - Sunday 28th April 2019
Over the past few decades, Whitby has become synonymous with goth culture with its biannual Goth Festival bringing fans of the darker side of life flocking to the town.
This April will see Whitby Pavilion host the reuturn of Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival! Bringing you a whole weekend of entertainment including: bands, film, theatre and market stall! The event, organised by Absinthe Promotions, will see an increased focus on music with the aims of hosting both established and up-and-coming bands to reflect the diversity of the goth and alternative music scene.
Over the weekend there will be music from: Pop Will Eat Itself, Chameleons Vox, Mercury's Antennae, Christine Plays Viola, New Model Army, Sweet Ermengarde, Saigon Blue Rain, Terminal Gods and MORE!
In addition to these great bands, the Dark Days Alternative Market will run from Friday to Sunday with many stalls full of beautiful, creative and unusual finds!
Dacre Stoker's new book 'Dracul' will also be launching over the weekend with his famous talk 'Stoker on Stoker'.
There will also be films screened across the weekend in the theatre to tantalize horror fans.
