Halloween on the Yorkshire Coast

The Halloween events calendar on the Yorkshire coast is always filled with a variety of spooky themed activities that promise fun for all the family! You'll find plenty of spooky ghost rides, spine-chilling ghost walks, and pumpkin patches galore across the region, so whether you're visiting with big kids or little ones, you're find a Halloween activity for everyone.

Many of our historic sites across the coast have a spooky tale or two to tell and are the perfect place to visit during the Halloween season. You can't celebrate Halloween without thinking about Dracula, so be sure to visit the awe-inspiring ruins of Whitby Abbey, said to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker's famous novel. Brave Scarborough Castle as they take you back in time to explore its grizzly history, or enjoy a fangtastic outdoor movie experience at Castle Howard.

If you're looking for  an alternative festival, Whitby's famous Goth Weekend returns this October, plus Whitby Pavilion will be hosting Tomorrow's Ghost Festival.

There are a whole host of Halloween events that tie in with October half term too, so you won't be short of places to visit and things to do on the Yorkshire coast.
